We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to become part of our activities department with
full time, part-time, and per diem positions available.

CECAA is a 134-bed facility with a traditional Long-Term Care, Memory Care, and Post-Acute Care Unit.
Activity Aide Job Description:
The Activity Aide is responsible for the implementation of a varied activity program designed to meet the
physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs of our residents. They are required to accurately document as
required by state, federal regulations, and facility standards. This position requires tact, sensitivity, and
professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.
Duties of an Activity Aide:
- Create a lively, stimulating environment where residents feel welcomed and supported, enabling them to
release apprehension or doubt about engaging, offering them an enhanced quality of life
- Independently manage structured groups demonstrating flexibility to adapt techniques for varying group sizes.
- Effective time management assuring activities start in a timely fashion
- Encourage and transport residents to and from activities
- Stands, bends, lifts and moves frequently during working hours
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to develop a rich activity calendar
- Provide one-to-one interactions for residents that require additional specialized stimulation
- Foster an overall spirit of community with the residents, nursing, and other departments
- Document participation and report any unusual or significant findings
- Follow resident care plans

Rate of Pay for an Activity Aide:
Determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as shift
differentials. Starts at $18.50 an hour
