We are searching for Swim Instructors. Dates are 5/6/26-6/10/26 on Wednesday's from 4pm-6pm at the Queensbury Elementary School Pool.

Responsibilities
- Will provide instruction and supervision of aquatic lessons and activities.
- Assist client in and out of the pool
- Adhere to standard safety practices, as well as job, department and Center policies and procedures related to safety
- Assist clients in preparation for activities as needed, including transferring and putting on of floatation equipment
- Clean/maintain pool deck sanitation as directed by Queensbury School Pool protocol and in accordance with New York State Department of Health standards
- Participate in training and development activities in accordance with department and Agency policies
- Engage in pool set up and closing duties in accordance with Queensbury pool policy
- Attend meetings as scheduled by Department
- Notify supervisor of incident and complete Incident Reports when necessary
- Inspect all waterfront equipment and report any defects with recommendations for correction to supervisor
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Specialized training, license, certification, skills: American Red Cross life guarding; CPR for the Pro-Rescuer; Standard First Aid
- Less than 1 year of job related experience, specifically with people with developmental disabilities
