This position works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, teacher assistants, school districts, and families to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all students.

Compensation Range
$67,002.00 - $81,164.95

We are searching for a Physical Therapist to join our Education department!
This position works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, teacher assistants, school districts, and families to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all students.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality physical therapy services
- Assesses current level of function
- Develops and implements an appropriate treatment plan
- Maintains complete and accurate clinical documentation
- Evaluates treatment outcomes and modifies treatment plans as needed
- Completes student evaluation as assigned, which include initial evaluations, reevaluations, and wheelchair evaluations
- Completes report cards and annual student reviews
- Supervises assigned Physical Therapy Assistants or student interns as needed
- Reviews and cosigns documentation completed by Physical Therapy Assistants and students as assigned
- Communicates with interdisciplinary team members, caregivers, vendors, school districts and county service providers
- Maintains clinical and professional knowledge base
- Complies with Federal, State and local legal and professional requirements
- Graduate degree (Doctorate/Masters) in field of Physical Therapy is required.
- Experience working with individuals who have Developmental Disabilities.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
