Position Description
This is manual work in obtaining parts, inventory and general maintenance custodial duties.
NATURE AND VARIETY OF WORK
Work involves performing routine tasks in general cleaning and painting. Employees in this class also perform general custodial duties in maintaining service area buildings and grounds. Work is performed under direct supervision, requiring limited decision-making and is reviewed through inspection of work upon completion.

Picks up and delivers automotive parts and equipment not immediately available in inventory or from vendors.
Performs general custodial duties in maintaining service area buildings and grounds; cleans building areas, including sweeping floors and waxing and buffing surfaces; maintains yard areas, cutting grass, trimming trees, and general repair of outdoor fixtures.
Performs related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Some knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the automotive trade.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
Ability to perform general custodial duties in the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Sufficient education to interpret and follow oral and written instructions
- Six (6) or more months of experience in general automotive maintenance
- Valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator's license
