Overview:
The Maintenance Technician position provides maintenance support for Wadena and Welch apartment buildings.
The primary responsibility is to ensure the timely completion of all assigned maintenance duties and other tasks. Duties include performing repairs, preparing units, and completing preventive maintenance.
Requirements
Maintenance Technician Preferred Experience:
We need a person who is self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team to carry out job duties. This position requires flexibility in schedule and previous building maintenance experience. High school graduate or equivalent. Apartment maintenance experience. This person must pass and maintain Minnesota Background Study clearance.
Required:
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Maintenance Technician Physical Demands
Must be able to safely navigate stairs and ladders, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, push, pull, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Must withstand external weather conditions, use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, pull, and manipulate machinery and objects. Exposure to cleaning chemicals. Moderate noise level.
