Duties
- Monitor surveillance footage using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security.
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and managing visitor sign-in procedures.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious behavior.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly.
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and calmness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security operations or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and familiarity with loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Background in military or security services is a plus, demonstrating discipline and situational awareness.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
