Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and conduct surveillance to detect suspicious activity or breaches of security.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to incidents, conflicts or emergencies using conflict management skills and first aid if necessary.
- Perform routine patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents or investigations.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and access records accurately.
- Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying theft or unauthorized access attempts.
Qualifications
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
- Additional certifications such as security licenses or loss prevention training are advantageous.
