Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $20/hour
Job Type: 6 months contract with possible extension

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Assembler – Electronics to support manufacturing and production operations. This role involves assembling small mechanical and electromechanical components, performing fine soldering, and completing precision work using microscopes and hand tools.

The ideal candidate has experience working with small parts, can read basic blueprints or schematics, and understands quality and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small components and sub-assemblies
• Work with very small and delicate parts such as fine wires, micro-components, and ceramic boards
• Review shop travelers, work instructions, and basic schematics to verify correct assembly procedures
• Perform fine wire soldering and component alignment under magnification or microscope
• Apply bonding and sealing materials such as epoxy using heating elements or ovens
• Conduct basic in-process inspections and quality checks
• Operate hand tools and light manufacturing equipment safely and properly
• Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Maintain consistent, punctual attendance and support production schedules
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing (mechanical or electronics)
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and work instructions
• Experience working with hand tools and small components
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Basic quality inspection knowledge
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written procedures
• Ability to work onsite and maintain a consistent early morning schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electronics, aerospace, or precision manufacturing
• Experience working with microscopes or magnification tools
• Soldering experience (fine wire or micro soldering)
• Background in cleanroom or ISO-controlled manufacturing environments

• High level of precision and attention to detail
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Problem-solving skills for straightforward assembly tasks
• Effective written and verbal communication

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational or technical training is preferred but not mandatory.
