Pay Rate: $50-$70/hr. ( DOE)

Temporary Human Resources Business Partner: On-site - Elma, NY (6-month contract)

Join our team in Elma, NY, a vibrant community known for its rich history and welcoming atmosphere. Our location offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our Military Aircraft Group from November 2025 through April 2026.

This on-site role requires a daily presence at our Elma location to effectively support and engage with employees and leaders. You will play a key role in driving the people strategy in partnership with our site operations leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership to determine appropriate levels of staffing and related costs to achieve financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition COE and site leadership to effectively recruit and onboard talent, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Manage people metrics proactively to support business objectives and facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Develop strong relationships with the senior leadership team, providing value-added support focused on enabling business performance.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of strategic business objectives and HR strategies that drive employee engagement.
  • Communicate business objectives and results through various channels, including meetings, town halls, and newsletters.
  • Support talent review processes to identify and assess organizational strengths, including critical positions and career paths.
  • Provide leadership in organizational development, design, and change management, ensuring organizational effectiveness.
  • Challenge the status quo by introducing or amending processes to meet financial and business objectives.
  • Lead critical talent management tasks such as talent identification, performance management, and succession planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including experience in an HRBP role supporting a senior leadership team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with employees at all levels with tact and diplomacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in organizational design, talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, employee development, and employee relations.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to understand complex organizational issues in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HR systems (HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking systems).
  • Experience coaching and influencing Senior Management regarding business and people-related decisions.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
