About the Role:
Our Behavioral Health Division is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Department Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll support our ACT team with day-to-day administrative tasks. With your help, our team can stay focused on providing high-quality support to individuals and families in our programs.

What You'll Do:
- Work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
- Serve as a primary point of contact by answering calls, greeting visitors, and communicating with clients, staff, and partner agencies.
- Draft and manage professional correspondence, including emails, letters, memos, and reports.
- Support daily administrative operations by processing documents, managing mail, maintaining schedules, and organizing program information.
- Prepare tracking spreadsheets, compile program data, and assist with recurring reports using Excel.
- Provide general clerical support including proofreading, filing, record retrieval, meeting minutes, and light office-equipment maintenance.
- Work collaboratively across departments and communicate regularly with program staff to understand needs and priorities.
- Assist with special projects, organize your workload effectively, and meet regularly with your supervisor to share updates.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and represent the agency with professionalism at all times.
- Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and public-relations activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support program and agency operations.
- May Travel periodically to satellite offices in surrounding counties as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Business or associate degree or 3 to 5 years of related job experience
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Prior knowledge of computer software, office equipment, and Microsoft Office programs preferred
- Access to reliable transportation
- Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
