Job Description

Whitney Young High School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in the water and passionate about helping students develop their swimming skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction to students of varying skill levels.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during swim lessons.
• Assist in planning and organizing swim activities and drills.
• Encourage and motivate students to improve their swimming abilities.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in water and able to demonstrate swimming techniques.
• Previous swim experience or teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
