The successful candidate for this position will possess the skills and aptitude for the following tasks:
- Implement best practices in operations and ensure consistency across all properties.
- Lead and manage the preparation of the annual asset budgets and ensure a high quality, accurate and timely product.
- Conduct regular reviews of property financials and operational KPIs to meet performance goals.
- Review and monitor performance of property budgets, variances, etc. and work with all Regional Managers prepare monthly financial packages including a summary of variances. The P&L must be reviewed weekly to ensure the property is operating within budget.
- Provide support and leadership for four to five Regional Managers.
- Develop a full understanding of company policies and Employee Handbook. Ensure that all members of management are held accountable to these policies and procedures and are also holding their onsite staff accountable.
- Execute revenue optimization initiatives aligned with company objectives
- Capex Management, Lender Compliance, Risk Management
- Policies & Procedures implementation, Portfolio Auditing, Legal & Contracts management, Systems Integrity
- Marketing of both Conventional & low-income communities.
Position Requirements:
- Proven experience in property management or real estate
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, Landlord Tenant Law, Fair Housing regulations, and related legal frameworks.
- Expert level/ Administrator with property management software (PMS) such as Yardi or RealPage, with preferred direct knowledge in Yardi. As well as familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- High level of experience in leasing operations, customer relationship management, facilities management, and upselling strategies.
- Exceptional communications skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lead team confidently while managing multiple properties efficiently, strong organizational skills are essential.
- Educational background in real estate administration or related field, CPM or CAM certification.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Minimum 10 years of direct multifamily or real estate asset management experience
