Logistic and Inventory Specialist

What You’ll Do

Logistics and Inventory Specialist

• Review Purchase Orders for accuracy before pick‑ups
• Communicate with sales, inventory, and warehouse teams throughout the day
• Manage transfers in and out of locations from start to finish
• Ensure transfers are completed daily so customer orders can be loaded without delays
• Notify the Field Operations Manager if any orders can’t be completed

Driving & Safety

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Keep vehicles clean and compliant
• Drive safely and responsibly at all times
• Maintain DOT logs, fuel sheets, and required documentation

Warehouse & Inventory Support

• Assist with picking, packing, unloading, labeling, and staging materials
• Operate forklifts and other equipment
• Support Cycle Counts and Spot Counts
• Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment

Administrative & Interoffice Tasks

• Keep paperwork organized and accurate
• Handle interoffice mail and common carrier deliveries
• Enter information into the ERP system
• Follow established SOPs and processes

What You Bring

• Clean New York State driver’s license
• 1–2 years of delivery driving experience in the tri‑state area
• 2–3 years of forklift experience
• Experience loading/unloading box trucks and flatbeds
• Knowledge of building materials is a plus, but not required

• Comfortable reading pick tickets, instructions, and basic correspondence
• Basic math and problem‑solving abilities
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Ability to climb in/out of trucks and forklifts
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather

Logistics / Field Operations Manager

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
