Mission Control Role
Key responsibilities:
- Provide 24x7 network surveillance of switching, digital, optical, and associated telecom equipment
- Perform fault analysis, isolation, and remediation across voice/data technologies
- Open, document, and route trouble tickets; escalate to internal teams, vendors, and facility providers
- Serve as single point of contact during high-risk, service-impacting events and maintenance windows
- Maintain accurate tracking records and support partners and field technicians during outages
Required qualifications/skills:
- Associate’s degree and 3–5 years in a telecommunications NOC environment
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, SONET, Ethernet, T1, circuit/soft switching, and BSC/RNC architecture
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and customer-service mindset

Shift in the NOC
