Responsibilities:
- Strategic Insight Leadership: Design and lead a comprehensive consumer learning agenda, synthesizing data from diverse sources to create a cohesive narrative that influences organizational strategy and decision-making.
- Advocacy and Influence: Act as the unwavering advocate for the consumer. Integrate profound consumer knowledge into all cross-functional discussions, confidently expressing a compelling POV that shapes marketing, product development, and sales strategies.
- Research Design and Execution: Oversee the full lifecycle of research projects-from translating complex business objectives into clear research questions to designing the methodology and delivering actionable insights.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Build and nurture robust relationships with key internal teams (e.g., Brand Marketing, Sales, R&D, Digital Marketing) and external agency partners, ensuring consumer insights are at the core of all initiatives.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage the dedicated category research budget, including PO management, accruals, and resource allocation, ensuring optimal spend to meet brand and business unit needs.
- 5 years of direct, relevant experience in consumer research, with a strong preference for client-side or custom supplier-side roles.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and/or Pharmaceutical/Medical categories is highly desirable.
- Mastery of market research methodologies and trend analysis, with a proven ability to convert complex data into a clear, compelling story with actionable, business-driving recommendations.
- Deep knowledge across a broad array of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and a passion for brands and their strategic growth.
