Senior Accountant Needed

Are you ready to take your accounting expertise to the next level? Celero Commerce is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical financial processes, collaborate across departments, and mentor others while making a direct impact on the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate month-end close activities to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare complex journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Manage multi-entity consolidations, allocations, and eliminations.
• Oversee sales tax, payroll tax, and regulatory filings across multiple states, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain the fixed asset schedule, including capitalization, depreciation, and tracking.
• Support external audits with schedules, documentation, and responses.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
• Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering team growth and knowledge-sharing.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Experience & Requirements:

• Brentwood, TN - based position
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven experience leading month-end close processes and preparing journal entries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite (or similar accounting systems).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communicator who collaborates well across teams.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to problem-solve and drive improvements.
