- This sales role plays a critical role in leading lighting projects, ensuring effective design, energy efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Will develop and lead into a deep understanding of lighting systems and a track record of successful projects.
- Lighting Design: Take a leadership role in developing lighting designs for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial applications.
- Technical Expertise: Ability to learn lighting layouts, working with lighting vendors on photometric analysis, and specifying fixtures and controls. This role has an assigned sales goal and works with an engineering/operations counterpart.
- Product Evaluation: Stay current with emerging lighting technologies and products and lead the selection of appropriate fixtures. Energy Efficiency: Champion the integration of energy-efficient lighting solutions, including LED technologies, lighting controls.
- Site Inspections: Conduct thorough site visits to inspect lighting installations, verify compliance with design specifications, and resolve any technical issues working with our operations team.
- Client Consultation: Collaborate closely with clients to identify their specific lighting needs and preferences, offering expert guidance and innovative solutions.
- Project Documentation: Oversee and maintain detailed project records, including design plans, specifications, compliance reports, and as-built documentation.
- 3 years experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn advanced lighting design software and photometric analysis tools.
- Experience in project documentation
- Knowledge/ ability to learn of lighting technologies, including LED, control systems, and energy efficient solutions.
- This role must show drive to hit sales goals on a consistent basis.
- A proven track record of successful lighting projects, demonstrating a commitment to quality and innovation.
