CEIS Power is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with 10 years of experience managing large-scale mechanical construction projects, operations teams, and project execution activities. This position is on a contract-to-hire basis and, our client, a leading construction and manufacturing company, is looking for a motivated individual to join their fast-paced growing team. The right person for this position will be able to perform well under pressure and be adaptable to rapid change and redirection.

Requirements
- 10 years of experience managing mechanical construction projects and operations teams
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and technical expertise
- Strong background in project management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Experience managing procurement, subcontractors, suppliers, and fabrication processes
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, change orders, billings, and contract administration
- Experience with ERP and project management systems including Viewpoint, Bluebeam, and CAD/VDC systems
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience leading high-performing operations and project management teams
- Strong understanding of construction safety, quality, and operational compliance standards
The right person for this position will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of project management and field teams on mechanical construction projects
- Oversee project administration, documentation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance activities
- Coordinate procurement, subcontractor management, and material/equipment delivery to support project schedules
- Manage project schedules, labor productivity, billing processes, and change order execution
- Train, mentor, and develop high-performing operations and project management teams
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate fabrication, production, CAD/VDC, and operational strategies to optimize project execution
- Review and oversee project accounting, trend reporting, forecasting, and work-in-progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, operational procedures, and quality expectations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, efficiency, project delivery, and operational performance
