CEIS | Government is looking for a Safety Professional to join our team. The Safety Professional plays a crucial role in supporting Safety Leads and project teams to ensure the safe construction of projects. They are responsible for planning, monitoring work activities, and addressing unsafe conditions to maintain a safe environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors on-site.

Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct safety orientation and training programs at the project level.
- Document, track, and address safety violations/initiatives, unsafe/safe conditions, and behaviors.
- Conduct work area safety audits and collect leading and trailing indicator data.
- Assist with major incident investigations, documentation, and analysis.
- Coordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirements.
- Review Safety Submittals and attend preconstruction and preparatory meetings with subcontractors.
- Monitor subcontractor work plans and activities for safety concerns.
- Accompany safety, health, owner, insurance, and OSHA personnel on work-site tours.
- Maintain project site Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and assist with safety budget management.
- Assist with onsite injury management, case management, and Return to Work assignments.
- Help organize and implement project safety recognition/reward programs.
- Participate in project planning and hazard analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned relevant to achieving team objectives.
- 10 years of safety experience within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, 29 CFR 1926.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse organization of employees.
- Action-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of incident investigations.
- Proficient with MS Office software.
- Safety or related technical undergraduate degree preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policy.
