In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions that meet our company's needs. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for technology.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications. (70%)
  • Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. (15%)
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle including planning, development, code reviews, testing, and deployment. (15%)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance of applications.
  • Stay abreast of new technology trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

Education, Experience, And Knowledge

  • Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of software engineering principles and practices. This includes proficiency in programming languages, software development methodologies, database management, and cloud computing. The ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing technical landscapes is essential.
  • Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and developing in a cloud environment.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in developing them.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
