Job at a GlanceTitle: Senior Electrical EngineerLocation: Anaheim, CASchedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours), 8:00am–5:00pmType: Contract (0–18 months)Overview: This position is responsible for maintaining reliable electrical service throughout a large resort campus by providing system electrical design, field engineering, and maintenance support for 480V, 208V, 12kV and 5kV electrical distribution systems and central plant electrical systems. This role will provide support to theme parks, hotels, a retail/dining district, and several offsite facilities.Low Voltage Distribution Systems — ResponsibilitiesSupporting diverse lines of business such as operations, maintenance, Entertainment, merchandise, Broadcast Services, and others, with answers to electrical questions, code interpretation, and engineering and/or design solutions.Response to outages or other facility-related electrical emergencies.Supporting maintenance electricians with technical assistance and troubleshooting efforts.Providing field and documentation support for projects, both new and renovation, occurring at the Resort.Coordinating assessments and inspections to evaluate conditions, operations & maintenance requirements, planning, and design of electrical projects to comply with applicable standards and regulations.Developing and maintaining system drawings created by in-house and outside designers for accuracy, adequacy, quality, and completeness.Ensure electrical solutions projects comply with applicable building codes, e.g., NEC, NESC Title 24, CBC, NFPA, OSHA, DOSH 6.2, insurance underwriter requirements, and Disneyland Resort Standards.Collaborating with Resort partners and outside consultants / contractors for the maintenance of the Resort’s one-line diagrams, power system studies, power management system, and developing energy management solutions.Providing engineering support for the Resort’s chiller, boiler, and compressed air plants.Review planned electrical outages for operational and safety issues.QualificationsRequiredABET accredited BA/BS Electrical Engineering degree with an emphasis on Electrical Power systems design and operation.Professional Engineering License (PE) in the State of California.Minimum of seven years of experience in engineering design and repair of electrical systems and equipment.Proficiency in the use of email, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.Knowledge of NEC, NESC, Title 24, OSHA and etc.Excellent oral, written, listening and communication skills.Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing complex issues to non-technical peers and to management.Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.Personal integrity and strong customer focus.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to communicate and work with craft labor and contractors to facilitate system repairs and equipment maintenance.PreferredMA/MS Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on power systems design and operation.Experience incorporating electrical distribution systems configuration and data into a Geographic Information System (ArcGIS).Experience using computer-based electrical engineering and design tools including SKM Power Tools and Energy Pro.Experience with a campus environment electrical distribution system including chiller plants, boiler plants, compressed air production, pumps, power management systems, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, meters, environmental sustainability, variable speed drive systems, and energy efficiency programs and projects.Knowledge of SKM software and experience performing power systems analysis.Required EducationABET accredited BA/BS Electrical Engineering degree with an emphasis on Electrical Power systems design and operation.About the ClientThe team supports a large, highly integrated resort and entertainment campus that operates year-round and serves millions of guests annually. Salary : $112,500 - $146,600
