Job Title: Construction Specialist I

Job at a Glance:

• Responsible for overseeing and monitoring vendor activity to ensure project tasks, plans, and updates are completed on time.
• This role helps coordinate day-to-day construction support (materials, labor planning, resourcing), provides cross-functional technical support, and reviews scope/task plans to keep projects aligned.

Location: Remote (MUST reside in MI, IN, or KY)

Pay Rate: $26/hr W2 optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)

Duration of Contract: Rolling contract with extension/conversion possibility

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor business partner/vendor activity to ensure project tasks and updates are completed on time.
• Review new work orders/projects to confirm the task plan and scope of work are aligned and accurately set up.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams such as procurement, design, and construction.
• Monitor project cost estimates and review/evaluate change orders submitted by business partners.
• Track progress, identify risks/issues, and escalate blockers as needed to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Required Skills:

• Ability to understand and read Coax/Fiber design prints
