Description:
Scrum Master for a Houston-based team supporting windows active directory, PKI certificate servers, and other elements of the Client tier 0 security environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Encourages team to make and meet execution commitments and removes impediments to the team.
- Encourages the team to establish and adhere to quality standards.
- Facilitates team ceremonies – Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospectives to guide work execution & Continuous Improvement.
- Implements effective backlog management; Keep the status of all work up to date in the backlog through backlog grooming in order to generate standard metrics to improve team performance.
- Collaborates with the Staff Development Manager, Product Owner, System Architect and Delivery Team to establish and update Working Agreements on execution plans, priorities, capacity, definition of ready, definition of done.
- Collaborates with Release Train Engineer in Scrum of Scrum and helps to facilitate PI planning.
- Facilitates skills assessment activities (i.e. “Skills Bingo”) to ensure team is prepared for work commitments.
- Ensures Azure DevOps (ADO) Core Fields are completed.
- Incident Management – keep track of aging tickets and help team resolve incidents timely
- Coordinates team building activities.
Required Experience:
3-5 years’ experience leading Agile teams
Proficiency with MS Azure DevOps Boards
Preferred Experience:
SAFe Scrum Master or Advanced Scrum Master Certification
Infrastructure support or Windows engineering background
