Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, experience in assisted living or group home settings, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status
• Assist with following care plans
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks
• Support clients with mobility challenges, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Engage clients in social activities and promote mental stimulation through conversation and activities
• Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving, home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is preferred
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• A compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for clients

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
