What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Associate position at Cedarpoint Technologies?
Some people naturally notice when something is missing, out of place, or recorded incorrectly. If that sounds like you, our Fayetteville team is hiring an Inventory Associate to keep technology equipment and everyday business supplies organized, accurately recorded, and ready for use.
What the work involves
- Check incoming deliveries against packing documents.
- Count, scan, label, and organize new inventory.
- Record equipment details and serial numbers accurately.
- Prepare requested devices and supplies for internal teams.
- Update stock quantities and equipment locations in the system.
- Complete regular inventory counts and investigate differences.
- Process returned, damaged, or replacement equipment.
- Report shortages and upcoming supply needs to your supervisor.
The Inventory Associate will communicate with infrastructure colleagues, office teams, purchasing contacts, managers, and employees requesting equipment. Good communication matters because each item must reach the correct department with an accurate record of where it went.
What we are looking for
We care about dependable work, sensible organization, and attention to detail. You should be comfortable using basic computer systems, following a repeatable process, and asking questions when an item or quantity does not match the record.
This position could be a good match if you:
- Prefer active, practical work to sitting in one place all day.
- Like keeping stock, equipment, and information organized.
- Pay attention to numbers, labels, and product details.
- Can complete routine tasks without losing accuracy.
- Work well with different departments and personalities.
- Take ownership when something needs checking or correcting.
