About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Youth Pastor to join our team. The Youth Pastor will shepherd middle and high school students, leading them to grow in their faith and equipping them to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. This role includes teaching, discipleship, event planning, mentoring, and partnering with families to build a thriving, gospel-centered youth ministry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, discipleship groups, and outreach events.
• Provide spiritual guidance, mentoring, and pastoral care to students.
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers to support youth ministry programs.
• Partner with parents to encourage discipleship in the home.
• Plan and oversee youth retreats, mission trips, service projects, and camps.
• Create opportunities for students to serve in the church and community.
• Work closely with church leadership to align youth ministry with the overall mission and vision of Cedarbrook.

Qualifications

• A strong biblical foundation and ability to teach Scripture faithfully and effectively.
• Experience in youth ministry, discipleship, and pastoral leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and adults.
• Ability to inspire, equip, and walk alongside youth in their faith journey.
• Commitment to the mission and vision of Cedarbrook Community Church.
• Relevant theological education or degree preferred; seminary training a plus.
• Prior ministry leadership experience strongly preferred.
