What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist (Part Time WED ONLY) position at Cedarbrook Cardiology?
**PART TIME only WED 8:30-4:30pm**
As a reliable Medical Receptionist at our busy cardiology and endocrinology medical practice, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the office. You are expected to accomplish a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The goal is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Check patients in/out, collecting co-pay, scheduling
- Answer phone calls and take messages in a timely manner
- Calling pharmacies from time to time
- Fax forms
- Prepares the examination room. Escorts patient into the room. Cleans examination room when exam is complete.
- Obtains basic vital signs: Temp, height & weight.
- Attendance - No show or unexcused absences will lead to termination
Skills
- Self-motivation to complete tasks that need to be done during business hours
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent computer skills navigating our EMR (EHI - Enable Health)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish is a plus)
- Strong organizational and planning skills

Experience:
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
