Dental Insurance Coordinator

Cedar Valley Dental Arts is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team part-time.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance and benefits
• Enter and maintain accurate insurance information in Curve Hero
• Submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations
• Ensure claims have necessary X-rays, narratives, and attachments
• Correct rejected and problem claims
• Review EOBs
• Track outstanding and aging claims
• Follow up with insurance companies
• Correct and resubmit claims when needed
• Follow claims through to paid, denied, or resolved
• Communicate insurance information with the dental team

Qualifications

Strongly preferred: experience working with insurance OR in a dental office.

Dental insurance experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with dental-office or insurance experience who is eager to learn.

Hours: 7:45 AM–5:15 PM

Pay: Starting at $21/hour, based on experience

Location: Ooltewah, TN

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 20.0 per week
