Role Description
The Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing event setup and breakdown, supervising banquet staff, collaborating with the culinary team, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Additional tasks involve maintaining vendor relationships, addressing member and guest needs, and overseeing hiring and training for the banquet team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Broken Arrow, OK.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills to ensure guest needs are met and exceed expectations
- Effective Communication skills to liaise with staff, vendors, and guests, as well as to provide clear instructions and feedback
- Experience in Food & Beverage operations with knowledge of banquet and catering processes
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including Hiring, training, and supervising staff
- Problem-solving and organizational abilities to ensure smooth event execution
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred
