- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective collection strategies, including contacting insurance companies and patients
- Maintain detailed records of billing activities, claim status updates, and payment histories in medical records systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation or coding discrepancies that may delay reimbursement
Qualifications
- Familiarity with EMR systems and EHR platforms used for billing processes
