- Varies based on program type and location
- $15.00/Hr
- Hours may vary depending on participation
- Participate in the preparation and serving of good quality food
- Assist with the security, storage, and proper handling of food and supplies
- Work to maintain standards of cleanliness, health, employee practices, and safety in the kitchen.
- Assist with cooking and baking meals
- Follow meal pattern requirement
- Report equipment breakdowns according to procedures.
- Complete payroll daily.
- Positively represents the Department and District
- Maintain open, positive communication with all people served by the food service department
- Participate in meetings, in-services, and training, including computer training as requested
- Process and complete all necessary paperwork or reports. Maintain accurate records.
- Available to work flexible hours. Other duties as may be assigned
- Ability to work independently.
- Maintains a positive attitude.
- Strong knowledge of school food service program, nutritional standards, and sanitation.
- Knowledge of meal pattern requirements
- Accurate and detail oriented in processing paperwork.
- Possess strong communication skills, customer service
- Basic computer skills required
- Demonstrates professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
