The Highland CSD is currently accepting applications for a long term Food Service Sub.
Job Position Title: Food Service Cook
Supervisor: Food Service Director/Building Administrator
Job Goal: To prepare and serve meals in a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, safety standards, board policies and administrative rules.
- Assist the kitchen manager with food preparation as assigned.
- Assist in utensil/pan/sheet pan washing or operating dish washing machine.
- Prepare food items as directed.
- Measure and mix recipes as part of the food preparation process.
- Contribute to the cleanliness, efficiency and successful operation of the food preparation/serving facility.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast menu items.
- Utilize the HACCP principles in assuring the safety of food preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures as applied to the food service area.
- Dress appropriately for the position and work required.
- Complete all general duties and tasks associated with this assigned position in a timely and efficient manner.
