What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Critical Care - Radiology & Endoscopy position at Cedar Park Group?
Cedar Park Med is seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses to support pediatric and adult patients in Interventional Radiology, Radiology (CT, MRI), or Endoscopy. This position requires flexibility to work across specialty areas and float between hospitals as needed.
Schedule: Endoscopy: 13 week contract. Day shift, 8hrs, 5 days. On call for weekends, evenings, and nights required.
***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with pediatric and adult procedures in Radiology or Endoscopy.

Place IVs, monitor sedation, insert foleys, administer medications, and assist physicians during procedures.

Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, including recovery room support.

Conduct thorough nursing assessments in an acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision.

Ensure patient safety and comfort while collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team.
Qualifications:

Current New York State RN license.

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care/procedural experience (Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, or similar).

PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required (must be maintained).

EPIC EMR experience preferred.
