What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Critical Care - Pediatrics position at Cedar Park Group?
Cedar Park Med is seeking Critical Care RNs for multiple pediatric units, including Inpatient Pediatrics, Pediatric ICU (PICU), Pediatric PACU, and Float assignments.
Inpatient Peds: Day, Night shift. 12hrs Every other weekend and some holidays required.
PACU: Days, Evenings, 12hrs, 7am-7.30pm, 11am-11.30pm and some weekends.
PICU: 13 weeks contract. Nights shift. 12hrs Every other weekend and some holidays required.
***Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.***
Requirements:
- Current New York State Registration
- BLS required; PALS/ACLS preferred (unit dependent)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in a Level I or II trauma center, in the respective pediatric unit (Inpatient Pediatrics, PICU, or PACU - ICU background preferred for PACU).
- Experience with an EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated.
Duties: Able to perform majority of patient care skills, good nursing assessment in the level of acute care setting in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision.

Salary : $59 - $72
