The Junior Analyst supports the analytics function by building and maintaining clean, reliable reporting tables and routine operational reports. This role focuses on repeatable data transformations, applying defined business rules, and ensuring reporting data is consistent, testable, and well-documented under guidance from senior team members. The work schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm in office.

Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain SQL used to create and refresh reporting tables
- Apply documented business rules and approved data fixes to source data
- Validate, test, and reconcile reporting datasets for accuracy and consistency
- Maintain routine operational reports (e.g., hours, utilization, basic sales metrics)
- Document transformations, assumptions, and data logic
- Follow version control, change management, and review processes
Required Qualifications
- Working familiarity with SQL (SELECT statements, joins, basic aggregations)
- Basic experience with Power BI or a similar BI tool
- Comfortable working with structured, repetitive datasets and rule-based logic
- Willingness to document work clearly and follow established review processes
Nice to Have
- Exposure to stored procedures, ETL pipelines, or data transformation workflows
- Interest in data quality, data modeling, and reproducible reporting
- Ability and willingness to learn business processes over time
What This Role Is Not
- Not responsible for financial, pricing, or strategic business decisions
- Not expected to design analytics strategy or data architecture
- Not a standalone decision-maker
Education/Certification:
- Graduation from high school or a GED equivalent.
Experience/Other:
- 1.5–2 years of hands-on experience working with SQL, operational reporting, and data cleaning in a professional environment
