Summary
The Data Onboarding Specialist is a fast-paced, dedicated client-facing position within Cedar Gate's Enterprise Data Operations Team. This position is responsible for working directly with the Cedar Gate SPMO during implementation and quarterbacking all project management tasks associated with new client onboarding post-implementation. This person will communicate data triage questions between the Data and Data Acquisition teams, create and manage ongoing client onboarding project plans, manage tasks, seek technical issue resolution from appropriate parties, develop agendas, distribute meeting minutes, and schedule meetings with project stakeholders. Your goal will be to develop the skills needed to become a data management SME and grow within the organization. Data Onboarding Specialists have a passion for project management, an eagerness to soak up knowledge, and the flexibility to adapt on the fly.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with a dedicated Data Management team, Product Team, Implementation Team, and Data Acquisition team to develop a detailed communications and project plan to monitor and track implementation progress
- Manage change control to existing project scope and project schedule and communicate appropriately to stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Data Acquisition Team to ensure inbound data files are being delivered within project timelines
- Escalate issues and risks to the Director of Data Acquisition (Director) in a timely fashion
- Monitor and communicate project milestones, status, and risk to the Director and Client as appropriate
- Assist the Director with monitoring current projects and coordinate with all team members to keep workflow on track
- Create all project-related paperwork - including Implementation Agendas, Project Plans, and Status Reports - and distribute timely to the client and/or executive management team
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings
- Serves as the dedicated point of contact for assigned High profile clients
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow streamlining
- Work with the Data Acquisition team to ensure Vendor Implementation tickets are created and monitored throughout the implementation; ticket categories include (but are not limited to) Legal Agreement execution, SFTP setup, file receipt/review, and distribution of file analysis

Required Experience / Qualifications
- Proven working experience in project management
- Ability to oversee cross-functional efforts
- An outgoing and enthusiastic personality that will make clients and team members want to follow your lead!
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written, verbal, and body language)
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Agree to work toward a Project Management certification
- Solid organizational skills, including high attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Effective at building, maintaining, and growing relationships with senior leadership
- Proven ability to learn technical concepts with high proficiency
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without assistance in getting an employment visa or work authorization.
Preferences – Not Required
- Experience in the Healthcare industry – Population Health Management, Medical Claims Process end to end process
- Data analytics experience – work drawing meaningful/strategic insights from technical data sets
- Experience with SaaS environment products or projects
- Strong Excel Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, or equivalent certification
