Role Description The Acquisition Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and securing residential property investment opportunities nationwide. In this position, you will identify prospective properties through various channels, analyze financial feasibility and market conditions, and prepare offers aligned with Cedar Brook Property’s investment criteria. You will manage relationships with property owners, real estate agents, wholesalers, and other partners, negotiating purchase terms and coordinating due diligence activities such as inspections, valuations, and title review. The role includes collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff to renovation and sales functions, maintaining accurate records in CRM and other systems, and tracking deal performance. You will also monitor local and national real estate trends, refine acquisition strategies, and contribute insights to support continuous improvement of the investment pipeline.
Qualifications
- Experience in real estate acquisitions, investments, or related fields, with strong skills in property valuation, financial analysis, and deal underwriting.
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and the use of real estate tools or platforms (e.g., MLS, property databases, spreadsheets/financial models).
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities, with a customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings, justify recommendations, and collaborate across remote teams.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and ethical business practices in line with Cedar Brook Property’s values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in single-family residential investments, fix-and-flip, or similar real estate models is preferred but not required.
