Position Overview:CECP seeks part-time internship support for the Strategic Engagement team on comprehensive database management and data entry operations. This role will be central to maintaining and optimizing our Salesforce CRM system. If hired, you will focus on ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and usability across our contact database while supporting analytics and reporting functions. Working closely with the broader team, this role will leverage multiple data platforms including Salesforce, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo to keep our systems current and actionable. The Strategic Engagement team drives corporate affiliate retention, engagement, and revenue generation through partnerships, sponsorships, and consulting projects. This position interfaces with all team members but will report to the Associate Manager of Strategic Engagement.Responsibilities:The Engagement Operations Intern will:Perform daily data entry and maintenance in Salesforce CRM, including creating, updating, and editing account and contact records to ensure database accuracy and completenessManage contact database refresh initiatives by utilizing LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to verify, update, and expand our contact information systematicallyExecute data quality audits to identify gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies in our database, implementing corrections as neededSupport cross-platform data analytics by extracting, organizing, and delivering reports across the CECP teamConduct research on CECP companies to identify engagement opportunities and flag relevant issues requiring team attentionSupport ad hoc projects related to engagement and technologyThis role is for you if you have:Strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience with data entry, data management, or database administrationExperience with CRM platforms; Salesforce experience strongly preferredProficiency with data tools such as Excel, Google Suite, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, or similar platformsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple data projects simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independentlyClasswork or an advanced degree in a relevant field such as business administration, information systems, or similarA high degree of initiative, motivation, and commitment to accuracy and excellenceDemonstrated enthusiasm and interest in advancing CECP's missionLocation:This position is fully remote, but you must be a US Citizen and currently living in the United States.
