About the Role

We are a growing mobile occupational hearing testing provider supporting employers with onsite hearing conservation services. This role is a field technician position—you’ll travel to different employer locations (often daily), set up the testing space, conduct hearing tests, and ensure accurate documentation and a professional on-site experience.

This is an excellent fit for someone who is dependable, customer-friendly, and comfortable working independently in industrial environments.

What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)

  • Travel to employer job sites (OH/WV/PA) to provide onsite hearing testing.
  • Drive a company issued F-350 and bumper-tow a hearing testing trailer to and from job sites (CDL not required).
  • Set up the testing area, prepare and calibrate equipment, and ensure the environment is ready for testing.
  • Conduct hearing tests in accordance with OSHNMSHA guidelines efficiently and professionally while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Explain the process to employees and help ensure valid test results.
  • Maintain organized records, forms, and basic field documentation (digital and/or paper).
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting in the field.
  • Communicate clearly with client onsite contacts and work professionally with diverse
  • employee populations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the trailer, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist supervisor with assigned tasks.
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to safely operate a company issued F-350 and bumper-tow a trailer.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screen
  • Comfortable with daily travel and a schedule that includes early mornings and long days.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills-this role is employee-facing all day.
  • High attention to detail (accurate testing and documentation are critical).
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in the field.
  • Basic computer skills (data entry, email, testing software, Microsoft Office, and simple digital documentation).
  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED

Certification Requirement (Company Paid)

  • Must obtain CAOHC OHC certification within 30 days of employment (training and
  • certification paid by the company).
  • Continued employment is contingent upon achieving certification within the required
  • timeframe.
  • DOT medical card within 30 days of employment (paid by company)

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Experience in occupational health, mobile medical services, audiology/hearing conservation, medical assisting, former military or law enforcement, EMT/paramedic, safety/industrial services, or other field-based client service roles.
  • Prior towing experience or experience operating trucks with trailers.
  • Prior CAOHC OHC certification (if already certified, please note in your application).

Schedule & Travel Expectations

  • Full-time. 40 hours/week (overtime eligible).
  • 100% travel to client job sites-often different locations day-to-day. Will need to be comfortable working a varied day to day schedule with frequent early morning shifts, overnight stays and occasional weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $31.25/hour

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as part of trailer setup and breakdown.
  • Ability to operate/maintain a vehicle and trailer.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during onsite testing days.
  • Comfortable working in and around industrial/job-site environments while following site safety rules.

Pay: $31.25 per hour
