Security, Dual Rate Supervisor

The Security Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the Security Department when assigned shifts as a security leader, ensuring the safety and security of guests, team members, company assets, and gaming operations. This position directs Security Officers during assigned shifts, administers security systems and programs, maintains compliance with Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and internal controls, and serves as a key leader in emergency response, employee development, and operational effectiveness. The Dual Rate Supervisor acts on behalf of the Security Shift Supervisor when required and ensures all security operations are conducted in a professional, efficient, and compliant manner. When not acting as a supervisor, will be assigned shifts to act in the Security Officer role part of the time

In this role you will be paid hourly and you will be eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.
 

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be 18yrs of age minimum

• Prior security supervisory experience preferred.

• Experience in casino, hospitality, gaming, law enforcement, military, or related security environments preferred.

• Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming and regulatory licenses.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

• Strong leadership, supervisory, and team development skills.

• Knowledge of security operations, investigations, emergency response, and asset protection.

• Understanding of gaming regulations, internal controls, and casino security procedures.

• Experience with access control systems, key management systems, and security technology.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Proficiency in incident reporting, scheduling, and security documentation.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

• Successfully obtain a Missouri Gaming License and pass a preemployment drug test

Security Operations and Leadership

• Oversee the daily operations of the Security Department during assigned shifts.
• Supervise all Security Officers and security activities occurring during each shift.
• Determine staffing requirements and schedule personnel to maximize security coverage while controlling labor costs.
• Develop and maintain weekly shift schedules.
• Serve as the senior security leader on duty in the absence of the Security Shift Manager.
• Safeguard company assets, employees, guests, and property.
• Ensure effective communication between shifts and department leadership.
• Administer access control for the property.
• Manage the Key system for Security and Sports Book key boxes.
• Maintain control of key inventories, records, and key repair processes.
• Ensure weapons detection platforms are operational and functioning properly.
• Maintain and update the list of evicted guests and ensure appropriate enforcement.
• Ensure compliance with all Security Department policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and approved System of Internal Controls.
• Monitor security operations to ensure adherence to gaming, money-handling, and security standards.
• Report any improper, illegal, or suspected improper or illegal acts involving employees to the Security Manager.
• Administer training programs to ensure effective security operations and protection of gaming and monetary assets.
• Provide ongoing coaching, counseling, guidance, and instruction to security personnel.
• Ensure continuous training and preparedness of Security Officers on assigned shifts.
• Assist the Security Manager with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of Security Officers.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide performance feedback.
• Administer corrective action and disciplinary procedures as necessary.
• Develop Dual Rate Supervisors and prepare team members for leadership opportunities.
• Ensure supervisory personnel are trained in Card & Dice, Dispatch, and Rover functions.
• Review all Security Incident Reports for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate follow-up.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and critical events.
• Coordinate security response activities during emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate records of Project 21 counts and required operational reports.
• Conduct investigations and ensure appropriate documentation of incidents.
• Conduct property safety inspections and support safety initiatives throughout the facility.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Secure, manage, package, and coordinate shipment of Lost and Found items through approved vendors.
• Maintain accountability of security equipment, keys, and controlled assets.
• Ensure Valet operations are properly staffed and effectively managed from a security perspective.
• Provide leadership support and incident response for Performance Venue operations as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with guests, vendors, and internal departments.
• Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement agencies, first responders, and emergency service providers.
• Ensure security personnel remain prepared to respond to fire, medical, security, and other emergency situations.
• Coordinate with external emergency agencies during incidents requiring outside assistance.
• Support emergency planning, drills, and preparedness initiatives.
