MATERIAL SAW OPERATOR & MATERIAL HANDLING

Job Purpose:
- The Material Saw Operator & Material Handling position at C E Machine Company Incorporated is crucial in ensuring the efficient and precise cutting and handling of materials within our manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for operating saw machinery and managing material flow to support production goals, maintain quality standards, and uphold safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain saw machinery to cut materials according to specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with production teams to manage the flow of materials and optimize efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of saw machinery to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of material quantities, cutting specifications, and production outputs.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking material usage and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to material handling and saw operation.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating industrial saws in a manufacturing environment; preferred.
- Experience in material handling and inventory management; preferred.
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing setting.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cutting and measuring materials.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing materials and maintaining inventory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
