Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of detail and finished good parts.
Essential Job Functions:
- Facilitate the moving of material and parts to stock or for shipment.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, organization, and handling of material/parts to maintain quality and accessibility.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits.
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack to assist in the movement and organization of inventory.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
- Assist other departments to process, load, and prepare shipments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics; preferred.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.
Previous experience is preferred but consideration will be given to all applicants with superior work ethic and a positive attitude.
