Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safe working conditions throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces. This role supports operational efficiency by ensuring a clean and organized environment that meets safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Maintain cleanliness of offices, conference rooms, and entryways.
- Monitor and restock janitorial and sanitation supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Assist with basic facility upkeep tasks as needed (e.g., light maintenance support).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, varying temperatures)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
Previous experience is preferred but consideration will be given to all applicants with superior work ethic and a positive attitude.
