INDUSTRIAL CUSTODIAN

Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safe working conditions throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces. This role supports operational efficiency by ensuring a clean and organized environment that meets safety and regulatory standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Maintain cleanliness of offices, conference rooms, and entryways.
• Monitor and restock janitorial and sanitation supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment.
• Assist with basic facility upkeep tasks as needed (e.g., light maintenance support).

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, varying temperatures)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions

Previous experience is preferred but consideration will be given to all applicants with superior work ethic and a positive attitude.
