CRATE & PALLET BUILDER (ALL SHIFTS)

Position Summary:

Responsible for fabricating shipping containers and general labor task throughout the facility.

Essential Job Functions:

• Utilize necessary shop equipment including table saw, circular saw, nail gun, hand tools, and tape measures to assemble and build crates, skids, pallets and/or other special packaging.
• Unload lumber and material safely and efficiently using proper procedures.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to professionally communicate and work well with others.
