Youth Respite Care Provider – Active & Engaging Role
We’re looking for a caring, reliable respite care provider to support a fun and active child in the afternoons and early evenings on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This role centers on safety, structured play, and assisting with daily needs while fostering a positive and engaging environment.

Youth Respite Care Provider – Active & Engaging Role

Location: Wittenberg, WI - Care in the home of the child
Starting Wage: $14.13/hour
Schedule: Wednesdays & Thursdays, starting at 4:00 PM (up to 10 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent safety supervision at home and in the community (e.g., park, outdoor walks).
- Assist with toileting needs (child communicates when finished; provider helps with cleanup).
- Engage the child in favorite activities such as walks, water play, and toy ranger/hauler time.
- Use patient, clear communication strategies when setting limits.
- Provide safe, reliable transportation as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Experience supporting children with special needs (preferred).
- Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care.
- Comfort with speaking Spanish is a plus.

- Loves being outdoors—especially walking, water play, and riding his ranger/hauler.
- Thrives in calm, structured environments and responds well to kind explanations and redirection.
