Bilingual General Laborer

CDR General Services is seeking a dedicated General Laborer in Citronelle, AL to join our dynamic team in a Galvanizing shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various production processes, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the galvanizing and coating process.
• Utilize hand tools for various assembly and fabrication tasks as required
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines effectively
• Availability to work weekends as needed.
• Galvanizing Experience is a Plus.
• General Laborer / Heavy Lifter
• The job involves performing general labor duties in the production area, mainly handling and processing metal parts (steel and other metals).
• Receiving and moving heavy metal parts.
• Cleaning and preparing parts by removing corrosion, rust, and other impurities.
• Assisting in the galvanizing and coating process.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area, following industrial safety standard
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote workplace safety.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is required
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is advantageous but not mandatory (training provided if needed)
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques required for manufacturing tasks
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout shifts
• Basic understanding of warehouse procedures including inventory management and safety protocols
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and supporting team goals

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
