Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial machinery and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, AC/DC motors, transformers, and industrial controls.
- Diagnose PLC issues and perform basic program modifications.
- Maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and other industrial systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and relay logic.
- Use diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment to identify equipment failures.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Document maintenance activities using a CMMS or work-order system.
- Follow safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with facility maintenance and additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, AC/DC motors, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and industrial equipment systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing teams.
- Comfortable working around industrial machinery and potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
