Location: Brusly, LA
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm (may be scheduled as 5 days/8 hours or 4 days/10 hours, includes occasional call-out work)
Pay: $30-$40 per hour depending on experience and $130/day per diem for travel
Responsibilities
- Install, wire, and program access control systems.
- Set up software to manage access levels and user permissions.
- Troubleshoot issues such as failed readers, door strikes, or software errors.
- Integrate access control with other security systems, including alarms and CCTV.
- Ensure proper operation of doors, locks, and electronic strikes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, user access, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of wiring, relays, and low-voltage systems.
- Experience with access control software programming and user management.
- Understanding of security protocols, standards, and best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
