Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fitting operations on structural steel, piping, and metal components.
- Use multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick, as required by the project.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components according to specifications.
- Operate welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, and fabrication tools.
- Inspect welds and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
- Perform repairs and modifications on industrial or marine structures.
- Follow OSHA regulations, welding procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Class A Combo Welder, Welder/Fitter, or similar skilled welding professional.
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
- Experience with structural welding, pipe welding, and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and quality standards.
- Experience working in industrial, marine, or shipyard environments preferred.
- Ability to pass a hands-on welding test if required.
