Job Description:
Local Intermodal Driver – Indianapolis, IN
Earn 79,000 to 80,000 yearly with a 5,000 sign on bonus and daily home time. This local intermodal position runs within a 200 mile radius of Indianapolis, with consistent routes to Chicago and additional local work.
Position Highlights:
Schedule: Fri to Tues, 1 AM start
About 2000 miles per week
75 percent drop and hook
Daily run to Chicago plus local work within 100 miles
Report to the Indianapolis terminal daily; slip seat required
Day cabs, no take home; no smoking inside trucks
Passengers not permitted
Pay and Extras:
0.56 to 0.63 CPM
Live load or unload by customer: 45
Customer drop and hook: 25
Out of route empty move or crosstown: 15
Rail delay: 15 per hour after 1 hour
Detention: 20 per hour after 1.5 hours
Training: 20 per hour
PTO and holidays: 18 paid days year one, increasing with tenure
Full benefits after 30 days

Hazmat required within 60 days (cost reimbursed once added to license)
